EARS EARS EARS

Well, Macy does have another ear infection! It is just crazy. But I knew it. She does something really funny that neither of the other kids did when she gets sick. Her face turns bright RED! So, we visited the doc today and I asked our wonderful Pediatrician for a referral that could get this done QUICK! I called the ENT this afternoon at 4:30pm and we are in for an appointment tomorrow at 1pm! I am so glad. I will let you know how quickly they can get Macy scheduled for surgery. I would prefer early next week because we are going to Houston (yea!!!) on Friday the 24th.
Speaking of Houston, I am so excited that I am going to be staying with my roomate...Megan. We are going to have our own personal zoo in her beautiful new home for a few days. Let's see: Macy is 8 months, Logan is almost a year, Chase is 2, Connor is 3, and Mackenzie is 4. We have a nice litte line-up! Anyway - I am going to Houston because one of my very close friends, Tricia, had her first baby boy in December. She was actually one of my other roomates in college...it is going to be a roomate weekend!
(Oh, and yes, I know that "roomate" is spelled "roommate")
So - I will let you know how the appointment goes tomorrow - Ryann is also going to an ENT so it will be a big tubes party soon enough! Ryann - you are going to see the amazing wonder of these things! :0)
Oh - My camera is dead right now so I will post more pictures soon when I buy some batteries for it! Sorry.

Shauna,
I just wanted to wish you "Good Luck" with your Doctor's visit. My Jess had "tubes" inserted in her ears when she was 18mo. old. (Her constant ear infections were beginning to hamper her hearing, speech and walking ablilities) Although Danny and I were frightened,(it is heart wrenching to watch them wheel your child away for surgery!) it turned out to be the best thing we ever did for her! She is now almost 17yrs. old and has never been plagued by any problems. :o)
Fingers are crossed for great results!
Love, Jan

E-mail me after Macy's appointment. We go at 2:00. We had to wait weeks for this doctor. I hope we can get tubes fast. I am impressed with your doctor and his speed! Good Luck.

Ugh, ear infections are never fun. And you just feel so helpless. Bless her little heart. I hope they can get her scheduled asap!
You have an adorable family. (I came over from Isabel)
