Macy had her tube surgery yesterday and everything went perfectly. She fussed for about 30 seconds in recovery and then fell fast asleep. She slept in the car all the way home which allowed me to drive through the bank and even through McD's for a Dr. Pepper. Other days this is a little more difficult. We came home and she was ready to play. We played for about 2 hours and then she went to sleep from 10:30am to 2pm. Don't you wish that you could nap like that! Here she is about an hour after surgery - so happy that she is spitting formula all over the place!
Also, Macy is eating Cheerios now - it is a good distraction for her. But Mackenzie and Chase are infatuated with the Cheerios too. I caught them this morning eating them all off of her highchair. At least it is a healthy snack.
Well, we are leaving for Houston this afternoon to visit with a lot of my old college friends. I am so excited. We are going to stay with Megan - I am sure we will capture some great pictures. And tomorrow I get to see new baby Sam. I am so excited. I am sure I will have some great stories to tell on Monday. Have a great weekend!
