I have officially decided that the more sleep that I get at night, the more sleepy I am during the day. I went to bed at 9:47pm last night - I fell asleep the second my head hit the pillow - and I did not wake up until 8:30am. WOW!!!!! Chase was in the pack'n'play so we didn't see him at 6am. *oh, and I am convinced he can crawl in and out of that thing now (story to follow)* Macy slept in (strange) and Mackenzie came down at 8:30 fully dressed and ready to go. She cracks me up. But the point of this story is that I am utterly exhausted and have closed my eyes with the longing to fall asleep about 20 times today - a few times while I was at a stoplight...not good.
I think that I miss my caffeine!!!! I have been drinking Diet DP religiously and it has caffeine in it but I havent been drinking it like regular DP because I dont like it as much. So - I am not getting that regular boost that I used to get during the day. Oh well - I will have to learn to deal with it because I am not wasting points on that stuff.
So here is the Chase story - Kip and I both walked in the room to get him out of bed this morning and the room looked displaced. I had a folder of about 200 sheets of paper that were all over the place. His sippy cup was on the other side of the room (we would have heard if he threw it). I think that he got out of the pack-n-play last night - played for a while in the room - then somehow crawled back in. That is the only confusing part to me is how he got back in the thing. I dont think it is impossible but it is weird and it is also weird that he wouldnt come out of the room if he got out. The whole thing is kind of strange - but he is a strange kid! :0) JK. He is a sweet kid. So - Marybeth - you jinxed me - that was the first thing that I thought of this morning.
Tomorrow is Macy's FIRST Birthday - the year has just flown by - she has such personality and spunk. She makes me laugh all the time. I cannot believe that soon enough, I will not have any BABIES in the house...kind of sad...but ok! We have a well baby visit in the morning - I will try to give you some stats - I always hate having to remember how many ounces they are drinking in the day and all of those details - that is actually the only detail that I hate trying to remember - when you have 3 kids, it is kind of hard to keep track of ounces and such. Am I the only one who thinks this way? Maybe - who knows.

Yeah, the Chase thing would freak me out too. At least you try to remember ounces, etc at their visit. I JUST took Brynn for her one year shots last week (yup that makes her 14 months). I don't think he even bothered to ask me about her eating/drinking since obviously I wasn't just right on top of things!! I will be curious to see Macy's size to Brynn's. Brynn was 29 inches and 21 inches.
Happy Birthday Macy!!!!!
