Countdown to ACU Nelson Dorm Girls Weekend 2006: 8 Days
I think that for the next week I am going to post something about each of my friends that are coming into town for our Girls Weekend, next weekend. I am so excited because we have so many great memories and we all have such a strong bond that is held together by so many things. Our friendship, faith, focus, past, future...so many things...it is great.
Today will be Megan because I already have a picture of her on my computer - the rest I will be scanning in if I can find one. Megan and I have known each other for a VERY, VERY long time...way before college. She was my roomate my freshman year of college at ACU and we lived in the corner room of Nelson dorm so we had 2 windows instead of 1. YEA! We bought matching bedspreads (that I still own) and covered much of our room in contact paper so that we could paint it. It was a fabulous room and we rearranged it about 80 times throughout our year of living together! Megan and I made up dance routines on a pretty regular basis to entertain the girls on our hall. I have so many memories but I cannot share all of them. Oh - here is a good one though - one time we decided to "candle" our ears - it is great, you should try it- well we did it on the rug in our room and set the rug on fire. That was great. And we had a wonderful pet fish Tyrone. Very special. Oh!!! Also - sorry Roomate - one night Megan was sleep "walking" (I guess) and she climbed down from her bunkbed and into mine and cuddled up with me...when I woke up - I think it woke her up so she just got out of my bed and walked to the bathroom like that was just one stop on her way to the bathroom - totally normal! I am laughing out loud right now just thinking about it!

I totally forgot about the middle of the night cuddling! Remember at the end of the year when we pushed our beds together into one big bed? Ahhh...good times, good times.

maybe i need to bring props for a special costume for the girls weekend!
So did you venture out anywhere dressed like this? Probably not...I bet it was after curfew ;)
