Ok - so I love Christmas - I really do...last year, I had the tree up before Thanksgiving - had the whole house decorated - it was wonderful. Well, It is about to be December 1st and I have absolutely no motivation to put up the Christmas tree or decorations. Mostly the Christmas tree. It is HUGE and a a HUGE pain in the rear to get it out of the attic and down the stairs. Also, we will be in Florida on Christmas day which takes away a little bit of the motivation that I might have had. Is it worth it to put the thing up for 3 weeks? I just dont know. We leave on the 20th to go to Florida.
I know you are all going to leave hate comments on here but please refrain. We are still going to celebrate Christmas!!! Santa will still come to our house! I may even get the box of decorations out and put a few things up. But I am making an executive decision right now that the tree is staying in the attic.

grinch. bah humbug to you.
just kidding, rm. there was more than one year in cali that we didn't put up the christmas tree because we would be traveling. as long as you have christmas spirit in your heart of hearts i think you are good to go!
I think we've always put up the tree...but we haven't put up lights (outside) for years.
I do have to say that my parents didn't put up a tree last year and it was so sad! Of course we were there Christmas day. Dad put a digital picture of a tree on his big screen tv instead. LOL!
I have not put up my tree yet, and have not even thought about it. If I was traveling I would not put up a tree. It is so time consuming to get everything out and then to put it all back up!
shauna, you do know that santa WILL NOT COME ANYWHERE if you did not make a shrine to the man for atleast three weeks, you better get your booty in gear!
do it for the kids.... geeeeez!
I agree with Sarah, you automatically go on the "naughty" list if you don't put up your tree! Maybe you could go to Target and but a tiny $9.99 tree. Then next year you can give it to Mackenzie to put in her room.
