I will be leaving in about 30 hours or so for Orlando so I thought that I would try and get a little blogging out of the way before I go and am lame for a few days.
Let me just start this blog by saying that I LOVE Mondays. People that I know think that I am crazy for this - especially all of the people that I work with - but whatever. I think that Mondays are kind of like January's. You get a pretend fresh-start. I am anxious for January to be here. I believe in setting goals and making life changes...I believe in doing this all of the time - but why not really focus on it one month out of the year to get things lined up!
2006 has been a life changing year for me. Here are a couple of big things that happened in 2006:
1. I didn't have any children.
2. I didn't conceive any children.
3. I lost 20 pounds...probably because of the lack of children in my body.
4. I made some new life-long friends - I haven't done that in a very long time.
5. Mackenzie started Kindergarten which started a whole new adventure for our family.
6. I got a promotion at work.
7. I started drinking Diet drinks.
8. My parents moved away, my sisters moved away, and my cousin moved very close to me.
9. I started taking crazy meds to fix me a little
I cannot really think of anymore things right now but I am sure I will later or you will all remind me of some...**this is where Laura will probably chime in and say that my favorite cousin-in-law got married - that was very life changing for me, Laura - I swear!** :)
I have learned a lot in 2006 - I definitely don't think that '06 has been the best year of my life but it has been critical as all the years in our lives are. Isn't it great how we grow and change because of every little thing that we do or that happens to us. I love to learn and change.

That's for the rundown :) Have fun with your fam! Don't worry about blogging while you're there...just enjoy the company of family. But...be prepared to share all (with pics) when you get back!!!
I may have to copy your idea of the rundown of the year. Have fun on your vacation. I am jealous that you get to go get a tan! Merry Christmas!
