Tomorrow is Turkey Day...gobble gobble

Posted by Shauna |

I have been wanting to write "gobble gobble" somewhere so there you go. I would draw a turkey right here for you if I could. Turkeys are really fun to draw in case you have forgotten. Well this week has been good. We have spent a lot of time with my mom, and both of my sisters are getting in tonight. Ashley and Desiree are driving in from east Texas and Randi flies in at midnight with her wretched weiner dog. She doesn't read my blog so I can say that. Anyhow - I love her so I will deal with the dog.

Tomorrow we are having the big dinner with the Callaghan's (and Ashley and Randi). My parents are up in Oklahoma and will be back tomorrow night so we didnt want to leave Randi and Ashley alone! Friday is another big dinner at my grandparent's house in Arlington. I am actually making a few things for both meals this year. This is a big thing for me. When I was working, that just didnt appeal to me at all. I only had two days off of work and wanted to spend every second that I could relaxing. I am making a yummy dessert and devilled eggs this year! As for relaxation...I have decided that is way over-rated.

We already put up our Christmas tree and stockings. I would have you refer back to last year's December blogs to see how big of a deal this is. Huge. I do have to get some more ornaments though as the tree is looking a little sparce. Oh - ALSO!!!....I got my hair cut and colored yesterday. It is really cute. Will take a picture as soon as I can find my camera in this house. The kids ganked it earlier and it has disappeared. Ok - Macy has made this entire post VERY difficult so I am going to stop it. She has climbed all over me the entire time -is choking me right now and turning my face so I cannot see the computer screen. She also removed one key off of the laptop. To make up for it though - she is kissing my face now. What a precious little monster of a child....who loves me....ughhhh....

Love to you all - Enjoy your blessings tomorrow - we are truly so abundantly blessed!!!!
