I started my Blog on August 12, 2005 - Macy was 2 months old and I think I realized there was no way that I was going to make a baby book for her so I better start keeping track of things somehow! I just went back and looked at the August Archives that are linked above and realized that we were trying out a dog back then also! Sadie. She was so ridiculous! What were we ever thinking? The one person I attribute my blog beginning to my roomate, Megan...I know there were tons of people doing it at that time but she was my only friend to start with. Thanks RM!

• There are 5 People in our Fabulous Family
• Kip and I have been married for 5 years - going on 6
• I got up at least 5 times in the middle of the night last night
• 5 Blogging Quirks that I have: 1)When crazy things are happening in my life, I am writing the blog out in my head (I think it is a coping skill); 2)I take pictures of my kids for the blog and I think it re-affirms their bad behaviors...but it also allows me to not FREAK OUT on them...I get distracted by the idea of getting the camera...It is kind of like counting to 10; 3)Some of you type out your post the night before and then post them the next day - I NEVER do that - I always type out my post - proof read once maybe and POST. 4) I have made life-long friends through blogging that I treasure so much...God has used this in a mighty way in my life!; 5) I LOVE to hear from new readers - it makes me feel famous...Mackenzie actually thinks I am famous so I kind of need to prove her right!
• 5 PM is like the worst time of day in my house. The kids get really cranky at 5pm...and I am trying to get my house in order, dinner ready and so on and so on...
• And Lastly...because I cant think of anything else...5 Things that I need to do today on my 500th post anniversary: 1)I need to announce my Makeover Winners at See My Designs - I thought about picking 5 instead of two but I dont have that much time to do 5 FREE MAKEOVERS!!! 2) Call the doctor's office - all the kids are sick - Kenzie threw up last night - ick! 3)Take a shower! 4) Call my sister to wish my neice a happy birthday (yesterday) since I suck at remembering birthdays this year! I actually didnt forget the birthday just the phone call. 5) Drink ONE more cup of coffee so I have some energy to get all of this done.

Today is my best friend, Jann's Birthday! If you happen to read my blog today - Happy Birthday my Dear! She reads like once every 3-4 months! Thanks for the loyalty, Jann. :) She is 30 today! She survived her twenties. We are celebrating this weekend! Fran is watching the kids on Saturday night and everything - should be fun!
