We had a nice weekend...actually I didn't - I felt like crap all weekend but I survived the weekend! So there. Honesty is always the best policy right! We had a busy weekend - that is for sure. Friday night we had Family Fun Night at Mackenzie's school. The kids had a blast. We came home and put the kids to bed and watched The Martian Child. What a great movie! I picked it - which always makes me a little nervous - but Kip really liked it too! I definitely recommend it.

Also, this is such a random picture but whatever. I walked into the living room last week - where Chase had been playing nicely for a little while - and this is what I found.

I leave the room for half an hour to blog and a drug ring gets started by my 4 year old. What the heck?! :)
This is not marijuana in case you were really wondering...it is my money plant from IKEA that has now been given a vicious haircut!

Here I am with my sweet friend Meredith and Baby Grant! I know you could care less, but I was stuck in my glasses for about 4 days! And I just about went crazy. On top of not feeling well, that was just one more straw on the camel's back. Anyhow!

I hope you loved all my pictures! These babies really are such blessings! Part of me really misses having a baby in my house. The other part is completely at peace with seeing my children grow and become little people. I love that they can eat pizza that is left over in the fridge rather than me putting them in a high chair and feeding them baby food. I love that they can pee in the potty. Most of the time. And dress themselves some days. It is getting better and better every day! They are so much fun!

On another note - I didn't finish my weekend rundown. Saturday night, I had dinner with Lauren - my wonderful neighbor - and a bunch of women from around Flower Mound. It was a great time. I love talking with other women who are doing the same adventure that I am!

Sunday - we went to church then had a great brunch with Kip's parents! I love Fran - she is so adventurous with food and we never know what to expect. We had banana's foster french toast with a breakfast casserole. It was delicious. Then I went to a baby shower for my friend Sharon from church. Then we had small group at our house last night....whew. I was in bed by 8:30 and asleep by 9.

I feel a ton better today than I did all weekend. And I just know it is going to be an amazing week! Happy Monday!
