I really did.

One of my very good friends, Jennifer, gave birth to her sweet baby girl today. I have birthed a few babies in my day, but I have never been on the receiving end. And although, I wasn't exactly on the receiving end today - I was close - and it was cool!!!!

I also cut the umbilical cord. Very cool.

So anyhow -

Kaylee Brooke Albright joined the world today! She is 6 pounds and 13 oz. 19 inches long. And she is oh so perfect. You will actually be getting well-aquainted with Kaylee over the next few months because I will be keeping her during the day starting in about 6 weeks.

I will only have her until Christmas - but it will be wonderful. I just love babies so much - and I love the ones that I cut their cords even more than others... I am really so excited.

She is just perfect - I have some pics but I haven't grabbed them off the camera yet. I will do that tomorrow.

Tomorrow is a super busy day! We have meet the teacher tomorrow afternoon & Mackenzie has a dance recital tomorrow night! I will definitely have some pictures of all of that!
