My Fitness Pal - DAY 1

Posted by Shauna |

Ok - so I love this website.

Why did I ever pay to do WW Online, people? Yes, I know it is only $15.

But this is not $15.

It is $0.

Which doesn't even warrant a "$" sign. Just ZERO.

So here's the deal. To start this endeavor off, I ate entirely too little food today. I have a headache to show for it right now. But I feel skinnier...

I will do better tomorrow. One of the best things that My Pal does for me is it tells me where I am with Fiber, Protein, Calcium and some of the other important things that I need. I am not eating NEARLY enough nutrients in general.

This is not shocking. If you know me - you are probably shaking your head right now, as you are well aware of my empty and quite terrible diet. It is amazing that I haven't keeled over at the ripe age of 28.

But - as I am turning this corner in life - inching closer and closer to the big 3-0. I think I need to start taking care of this temple. I need to operate at full capacity. My kids definitely need that from me! And I think that I owe it to my Creator. I was created in the image of something holy and perfect - of course my sinful nature messes that all up - but I am determined to be physically better. Closer to how I know God intended me to be!

Ok - well that was a lot to get from my first day of My Fitness Pal participation. But it really is a great tool to help you get where you need to be - not just weight-wise but health-wise too!

You go girl! I think it's time I got on board with a similar plan. I think I would have more success if I just wired my jaw shut and fixed my tv so that it would only run if I were on the elliptical machine though!

Thanks for sharing this! I'm going to give it a try. I have pledged to get my health back on track in the next year and this sounds like a great way to start!
