Well, we made another offer on a house yesterday and it was ACCEPTED!!!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I am going to buy a new camera today because mine is a piece of crap and I need to start taking some before and after pictures for your enjoyment. This house is a definite fixer-upper! So, I am sure that I will be doing quite a bit of whining and complaining over the next few months or years - who knows! Here is the only picture of it that we have right now and it really doesnt do the house much justice.
It is a two story house - only 3 bedrooms - we will figure that out later - any suggestions on which kids to put together would be appreciated. BUT - it is 2300 square feet - so it is pretty big for a 3 bedroom. And the back yard is about a quarter acre. It needs lots of work but it will be fun. Kip is not really singing the same song right now but, oh well, I am excited about it. Some wifes are not manual-labor-fixer-upper-types so I can see where their hubbies might be a little irritated with the excitement - but I am. I dont have a problem working hard on this house. I will do it by myself if I have too! Ok - not really - but it was a nice thought for a second.
As for our house - it is still on the market and we have not had any offers yet - Please Pray! We are stressing about this a little bit! I painted two of the kids rooms yesterday to a beautiful cream color so that people can picture themselves in those rooms a little better - hopefully that will help! I am going to do some box packing today just to clean up the clutter a little more. I am not kidding about praying - please do. We dont need this house to sit on the market as it will be stressful for us and for my parents.
