Kip and I celebrated our 5th anniversary yesterday. I didn't have my computer at home so I couldnt post about it yesterday. Some reasons why I love Kip:
1. He truly loves me with all of his heart. Some of you know the origins of Kip and Shauna and some of the struggles that we went through in the beginning years - and even to this day - he has made a DEFINITE CHOICE to love me and make sacrifices for me and for our family.
2. He is such an amazing dad - he loves our kids more than anything in the world and would make any sacrifice to provide for our family. 
When I met Kip, I saw how much he loved his family and I knew that if we had a family together, we would feel the passion and commitment I saw in him early on. It is so great to feel that passion and commitment.
3. He is a man of God. Kip has taken strides in his relationship with Christ over the years and strives to love me like Christ loved the Church. What a security that I have to know that I can trust in Kip and his commitment to me.
4. He takes Mackenzie to school in the morning.
5. He supports me in my career endeavors. I am very driven at work and at home - and I think that could be a little overwhelming for some people. But he believes in me and my ambitions and he supports what I want to do career-wise.
6. Kip is HOT...like really HOT.
7. He pushes me out of my comfort zone and makes me want to be a better person. I think Kip would probably tell you that I did this for him early on and hopefully he would say it now too - but - what I am getting at is that he really pushes me to make ME better...which in turn, makes US better.
There are lots of other reasons why I love Kip but right now I cannot think of them because he just called me to ask if he could adopt this dog from the Flower Mound Animal Adoption center...and I actually said yes...I will explain more about the sticker chart and DOG goal later...Here is a picture of "Barbie" - soon to be re-named from the website. She is a Mastiff mix. Kip is trying to figure out how to go pick her up right now...I will update later!

Congrats on the anniversary and new addition to the family!! Can't wait to hear more about the dog and her adjustment.
Two words of advice from the mama of 3 big dogs...Cesar Milan...Dog Whisperer! Ok, that's 4 words but he deserves it!
I am so excited that you have a man that is so in *tune* with you, with your needs, with your family and with God. That is refreshing!
