T'was the night before Christmas
Before Eight O Clock
Not a child was stirring
They were all sleeping like a rock
The threats of no presents
And phone calls to Santa
Have come to a conclusion
Only word that rhymes is "Fanta"
I wish I were in bed right now
Kip says I need to be awake
The presents wont bring themselves in
And the cookies wont bake
This is my last stanza
Because Kip is kinda mad
"Put the computer away, Shauna!"
He is a really great dad.
He brought Mackenzie flowers
And Chase brought some for the mama
We sang in the choir
And did a great job, llama.
You might think that I have been
Dipping in some egg nog
But I swear I haven't
I really need a good jog.
I want to end this poem
Like I said I was going to do
Kip is so over me
Sitting on our couch that's blue
I have a few pictures
From church and from tonight
Merry Christmas to All
And to all a Goodnight!!!

We're enjoying the nice weather here in Dallas. It's nice to be with family at Christmas.
