Hip Hip Horray! My Father-in-Law found my phone and just brought it over to me! So sweet! Thanks Ed!
AND...I found my keys! They have been missing for about 4-6 months (no joke)!!! They were in my couch. Of course. As Kip left this morning he said, "have a good day and dont lose anything". Nice. I have really had some issues with this lately - maybe it all started WITH LOSING MY MIND!!!!!!!
Ok, anyway.
I wanted to give some feedback on the room makeover because...that whole room cost me about $100. So - I thought I should share what I did in there. I painted obviously... But the black border around the room is magnetic paint. So - we have pictures up around the room. I just bought some sticky magnets and we can change those out whenever we want. The words say "God, make my life a little light for all the world to see...something else...blah blah blah"...I cant remember!!!!! See - I am losing my mind. And I dont want to walk upstairs and read it! Sorry! Ok.
The BEDS:
We bought some cheap wood (about $10) and had it cut to the right sizes of a twin headboard. I just looked that up online. I bought some fabric at Hobby Lobby (about $25), some batting and some ribbon. Just staple gunned it to the wood...and voila - super cheap, super cute headboards. They are mounted to the wall in case you were wondering! I used the left-over fabrics to make the curtain.
The Armoire:
I had this armoire and it was just sitting in the room doing a whole lot of nothing. It was painted white. I just painted the black and pink and sanded it to give it that rustic look. Then I painted the bible verse on top. Super cute.
Oh - and the shelves on the wall:
My grandpa (who is very creative) gave me these. They are drawers! He had seen the idea of hanging them on the wall. So - I painted them black and hung them on the wall. They are perfect for right there! The ribbon is tied to the drawer pull up top! Easy and functional shelving!
So - there you go! A room rundown.

I'm glad you explained the room. The armoire looked like fabric, I didn't realize it was paint. You are VERY creative. Is Macy still napping during the day?
Yay! I went through a losing things stage. I've passed it on to Merd. Can you believe she lost her ipod again?!?
I feel for you. I am still looking for a set of car and house keys I lost in Houston. Hope they find their way to Nashville eventually!!
I didn't realize those were drawers! That's so cool!
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!! I may be copying you soon with the headboard and all!!! ADORABLE! Oh, and I LOVE your banner!!!! You are too creative! I need some of your energy!!!
That is so super cute! I am so impressed with your creativity and how frugal you were! My favorite part is using the drawers as shelves! WOW! Really talented! I do not blog much, sorry it took so long for me to wander over to your blog! Good to read up on what you've been up to! :)
So cute. you should contribute this pictures and your ideas to a magazine! I seriously think you could win a contest on redesigning a room for $100 or less.
